| The
Creully Club
was established for all those who served in the 4th/7th Royal
Dragoon Guards with the purpose of renewing old comradeships and also
to remember our friends who were killed in action. Membership is open to all those who served in the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards, relatives, friends and supporters. A reunion is held each year on Remembrance weekend. The Annual General Meeting of the Club is held on the Saturday and the reunion dinner in the evening. On Sunday members take part in the Remembrance Service. The venue of the reunion is agreed by members each year and is usually held in the Midlands to suit members from the North and South. A Newsletter is published twice a year in February and September. Pilgrimages are also held and there are visits to the Regimental Memorial at Creully, Normandy each year and there have also been visits to the Regimental Memorials at Oostham, Belgium and Elst, Holland. The Creully
Club enjoys an independent status, fully supported by Home
Headquarters who give the Club generous financial help for various projects.
